We Have Moved!

Wow!, it was hard work, however over the weekend we moved into a larger warehouse and office facility to support our continuing expansion and new stock lines.

Just a stones throw away from our old office and warehouse in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, we have now consolidated our two warehouses into a single larger warehouse and office space.

We have plenty of parking so that you can visit us to discuss your event requirements, refreshments guaranteeed! and we also have space available for demos so that we can mockup PA, lighting, effects, etc. so you can see how these would look for your event or theme.

Harry Potter Themed Wedding at The Tudor Barn Burnham

We spent a lot of time speaking with Eric and Lydia in the run up to their wedding day at the Tudor Barn on Saturday 16th November, and what they wanted more than anything was a Harry Potter themed wedding.

They wanted to turn the barn into the Great Hall at Hogwarts and had lots of ideas for their day but more than anything they wanted not only the look but for it to really feel like the Great Hall. That's where we came in!

Well before the day itself we mocked up our ideas at The Tudor Barn and provided photographs of what we proposed.

We developed a fairy light canopy which would emulate a starry sky underneath the main roof space and no great hall would be complete without floating candles, well over a hundred of which floated and flickered at different heights throughout the barn.

The look in terms of lighting was finished off with subtle warm white uplighting on the wooden beams to give the effect and feel of the tall stone columns of the Great Hall and outside we also provided real flame large 7' gas flambeaux at the entrance to the barn and at the side of the main barn door.

Eric and Lydia had a fun filled and magical wedding day, and to top it off in true Potter style they even had a blue Ford Anglia as their wedding car!

We would like to congratulate them on on their marriage and wish Lydia and Eric all the happiness for their future life together, and may it be filled with magic and wonder.

Sport England Colleagues Day 2019

With the fantastic backdrop of Bisham Abbey, Sport England brought the whole organisation together for a colleagues day on Tuesday 9th July 2019.

The day was filled with activities and guest speaker Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE delivered a video presentation and keynote speech about her involvement with the Gold Medal winning Great Britain Hockey Team at the 2016 Rio Olympics and what it means to be part of a team.

We supplied a range of services for the event including staging, PA, Audio Visual presentation and screens, an AV Engineer and a Sound Engineer.

More Light Up Letters to Hire!

We have added to our range of Rustic Light Up Letters and Numbers with some great new additions.

Our new MR & MRS, MR & MR and MRS & MRS signs look fantastic adorning any dancefloor or as a focal point to a room.

At 4' in height these illuminated letters are in no way small and the largest MRS & MRS letters span to almost 5m in total length.

Turbosound Active Column Array Speakers, New to Our Hire Stock!

We have taken delivery of a number of Turbosound's iNSPIRE IP300 Active Column Array Speakers which are now available to hire from our stock.

Although referred to as a column speaker the IP300 delivers the powerful, high quality sound and optimised dispersion inspired by Turbosound's award winning line array systems.

The IP300 is ideal for speech applications and conferences as well as music playback and performance applications and has an array of audio processing features as well as Remote control via iPhone / iPad / Android and Bluetooth Audio Streaming.

Wycombe Wanderers Player Awards Dinner 2018

We were delighted to support Wycombe Wanderers annual Player Awards Dinner with a range of audio visual services and venue lighting.

The 2017/2018 Awards were celebrated in style with Gareth Ainsworth, their manager leading his coaching staff and players into the room to a standing ovation.

A number of awards were presented with Adebayo Akinfenwa picking up both the Players Player of the Season award and the Supporters Player of the Season award.

Uplit Drapes and Festoon Light Canopy at Lillibrooke Manor

We always like to be creative and produce new lighting canopies and work with drapes and swags in different ways.

We were given just that opportunity when we were asked to create something quite different and bespoke for Lillibrooke Manor's tasting evening on the 24th January.

We came up with dramatic sweeping drapes over the dancefloor area which we uplit with wireless battery powered uplighters. These then merged into a festoon light crossover canopy going down the length of the barn with larger LED bar uplighters emphasising the main barn in a different colour shade.

The effect was very dramatic and the uplighting on the drapes as the shade varies between lighter and bolder colours just adds to the overall atmosphere.
